What You'll Do

Job Responsibilities

AI/ML Upgrades

  • Build proprietary decision-making algorithms for career matching, fine-tune/train based on user career match insights
  • Enhance the high school admission plan (all universities, colleges, trades)
  • Optimize dashboard based on user feedback

Job & Education Scraping

  • Expand and maintain pipelines to collect structured job postings for government + trade jobs
  • Expand entrepreneurship education plans

Mentor Matching

  • Build and test AI/ML-driven features that connect users with mentors based on career goals and skill profiles

User Video Feature

  • Develop video feature for users to document their 60-second personal pitch
  • Create dashboard to track user school and work projects to capture skill enhancement

Global Dataset

  • Work with U.S. and EU datasets to broaden platform coverage

Enhanced Resume

  • Support development of AI-driven resume building and editing features, integrating natural language models into the user job application journey

Skills-based Comp

  • Design additional feature for organizations to determine skill-based compensation based on our data

User Videos (Day in Life)

  • Convert user videos to data we can use to train & make our model more robust
What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Master's in AI/ML or strong Computer Science with specialization in AI/ML
  • Previous experience in technology

Backend & AI/ML

  • Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL
  • Ability to apply AI/ML models in production back-end systems
  • Previous experience with decision-based algorithms a bonus!

Frontend

  • JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind

Data & Infrastructure

  • Familiarity with relational and/or vector databases
  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration
  • Experience with web scraping frameworks (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Puppeteer)
  • Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality

DevOps & Testing

  • Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS
  • Testing tools (JMeter, Bruno)

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Vue)
  • Interest in AI, career tech, or labor market data and in contributing your own entrepreneurial spirit and backstory to shape a product designed for impact
  • Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
