Gigsup is a career intelligence platform: assessments, planning tools, matching, and agent assistance for students and career changers. It provides information and guidance support. It does not guarantee admission to any program, receipt of any scholarship, or any employment outcome, and it is not professional counselling, medical, or legal advice.
Under-13 accounts require verifiable parental consent or school-mediated consent (see the Privacy Policy). By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate. School-provisioned accounts are governed additionally by the school's agreement with us.
You own your career record: your journal, portfolio, assessment results, and everything you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service (store, process, display it back to you, and generate your results from it). We claim no other rights. You can export or delete your record at any time.
No impersonation, no harvesting other users' information, no attempting to reach data that is not yours, no using the network features to harass anyone, and no automated scraping of the service. The network deliberately has no messaging; contact exchange happens only on mutual consent. We remove accounts that make the platform worse for students.
Employer accounts see reduced candidate profiles only, and only for opted-in users. Employers must not attempt to identify or contact minors outside the platform's flows. Postings must be genuine roles; we verify employers before students see a posting and remove any employer that misuses the platform.
Paid plans and coaching fees are stated at purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancel any time and keep access until the period ends. Coaching sessions may include promotional platform access; promotional terms are stated in the offer.
The service is provided "as is". Career data (entering averages, market signals, income figures) is informational, changes constantly, and should be verified before major decisions. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under Quebec consumer protection rules.
For Canadian users, these terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable federal law. For US users, by the laws of the state of Washington, without prejudice to consumer rights under your home state's law. School agreements may specify otherwise.
